ZONE
Croatia is located in the GMT +1 zone. The
zone changes to GMT +2 on the last saturday
i March, and lasts until last saturday in
October
WHEN TO VISIT THE CROATIAN COAST?
The best time to visit the coast is between
April and October. The temperature durring
that period is up to 38°C, while the water
temperature is around 26°C. High season (Nuly
and August) has its advantages for guest wanting
fun and excitement, but Croatias coast offers
quiet areas as well for guest wanting peace
and quiet. March brings the spring sun, as
well as some unpleasant rain. Early fall,
September and October, are ideal for guests
wanting a true vacation. durring this time,
out of season, the beaches are no longer crowded
with people, and the prices for accommodations
are somewhat lower, at the same time, the
air and water temperature is stable and quite
pleasing.
In general, traveling the Croatian coast is
accessable all year round. Winter time we
suggest you bring warmer clothes.
CUSTOMS
It is customary that upon meeting, one shakes
hands while arriving and departing. Smoking
in general is allowed, except in public transport
and larger public places. some restaurants
have a non smoking area, which is clearly
marked with a sign. Sun tanning topless is
accepted on almost all beaches, while nudism
is limited to marked areas only.
